He looked so handsome last night, and heck, yes, I think our clothes matched. he was wearing a black silk long-sleeved top with black slacks and I was wearing my black and white silk dress. That alone made me happy and giddy. And he talked to me when I was alone. Hence, the 'damsel in distress' part. :P Yup, ans yesterday was a fairytale.

I relate this to an event that happened two years ago, when I first saw him. I was wearing a dress and he was wearing a dark grey tshrt! He tells me with his eyes that I look pretty when I feel down. Those days were fairytales...

The first line always, always happens, and I've always wanted to ask him that (2nd line). Well, I had a crush on him when I first saw him. Like, KABOOM.

 It started out pretty simple..


I dreamed that I was in the recital (the thingamabob last night) and I was slightly cold. Someone embraces me from behind and let's just call him Nico. Nico embraces me and lays his head on my shoulder and I smile. Then he releases me and faces me. I tell him that I'm cold and he tells me to wait for a few moments. I nod, and he goes away. A few minutes later he's back with his jacket, the one that he wore the first time I caught sight of him. I put it on and his scent surrounds me. I smile.

Then it shifts to another scene, maybe just a bit later... I was sitting on a chair watching the performers from

 Woke up late, went to school at 10, met up with a few people, spent the day with Gerardo, Xyryn, Chuckie, Kuya Angelo, Angeline, III-Demeter and a few other people. Got changed into my formal attire at 4, and let this song tell you the rest. :)

  • waited for a few people by the school's main gate
  • went to my room
  • went to the conference room to watch my niece, Ana. (not really-the niece part. :P)
  • went with Gerardo to the Chemistry Exhibit
  • played with chemicals with Gerardo
  • poured chemical-loaded water on the grass with Gerardo
  • played some more with chemicals
  • went to other exhibits with who else, Gerardo!
  • bought some halo-halo (I treated Gerardo)
  • went back to the C.E.

Dang it. I watched a music video and all my thoughts flew out of the window.

  • made some students go wow

  • explained the experiments to a teacher (very well done! YAY!)
  • soundtrip w/ Claire
  • and went home with Gerardo's guitar.
Now, you ask, why bring home his guitar?!

Because I want to and I'm too lazy to walk back to Eurynome just to bring back his guitar. :P

Hell yes. Next up, who the hell is this Gerardo boy. :P

How did my day go? Hmm...

I mean, oh jeez.. I can't post it here! What if someone sees it?!

But that's the point of having a freaking blog, dang it.

So I'll just give you a rundown of what I did this day.

And I'm listening to "Untouchable" by Taylor Swift and it's my absolute good mood song right now. *Squeee*

And my stomach's rumbling. Bleh.

ANYWAY...


  • woke up at 7: 30am and almost freaked out and then went back to sleep until 7:50-ish. 
  • got ready for school, taking my time because I'm late anyways

YUp, and forgetting what to type because of playing Gerardo's guitar. I think it sounds better than mine. many would contradict that. I swear.

 Hello, beings of the universe...


Well, as you have read from the title, this will be about how my novel got started. (Did I say that right? XD)

My novel started out as a pretty simple idea, I think my first thought about it was a girl who belonged in a cult in the Renaissance or Victorian era and it just grew and grew and grew...

The first title was The Society because--

(RANDOM: I have Gerardo's guitar in my room. :P Know more about him AND why his guitar is in my room on my personal blog, link below. And no, he's not my boyfriend. I'm single and loving it.)

Okay, back to topic.

--because that was what my original idea is all about. But as I was writing the story, I realized that I really don't know anything about Victorian Era or Renaissance Era, I'm not gonna lie. I love those eras to bits, and I adore royalty stuff and history and all those mush-mush, but no matter how many books I read that is Victorian Era centered, I won't be able to write an original, no, not original, but, hmm, 'unique' book or story because I would be modelling it to book that I read. And I hate that kind of thing. It's like saying to myself, "Nessa just go and change a few things in this book, post it online and wait for the fanfare.". No, I certainly hate that and I'd rather write fanfiction than model my story or novel to a book that I loved. That's like indirect plagiarism. (Yup, I'm a sucker for originality. :| )

So I changed it, made it modern and changed the title to "Raven" and then realized that's so common. I then added my main character's last name, which is Midnight. "Raven" became "Raven Midnight" which was too blah for me, so I thought and thought and then decided to transpose (Hell yes, algebra term. XD) the last name before the first name and got my perfect title, which is "Midnight Raven".

And then I looked at it again and put a little comma, changing it to "Midnight, Raven". Now, isn't that a lot better? I love how a comma can totally change a whole sentence.

And so, my first ever 'professional' novel, Midnight, Raven was born. I say professional because this is my first ever novel that I will be posting online, meticulously weeding out loose ends, creating concept arts, drawing ideas (literally), and basically being totally serious about writing it and finishing it. It's even gonna be a manga comic! My good and great and talented friend, JL will be my illustrator. We plan to work on it this summer. Yes, you will be seeing it. :)

That's all, that was pretty long, but that's okay. :)
